The challenge
The initial capabilities and configuration implemented for simulation management were rather high touch, had a relatively long processing time and were not fully deployed to the user community.
Project & results
During the project EyeOn supported for over a year to:
- Refine the OMP Unison Planning™ configuration and capabilities
- Drive several MIP solver simulation pilot use cases
- Standardize and improve the simulation data model and oversee solver parameter configuration across the portfolio
- Train and upskill of the planning community
- Super user support and troubleshooting
As a result of EyeOn support the customer is now capable of running simulations with significantly reduced cycle time and more reliable scenario outcomes to drive faster decision-making.
