Quantifying the added value of improved forecast accuracy on costs and customer service

Reducing working capital and increasing customer service levels are two important motivations for improving forecast accuracy. However, what impact can we expect from a 5% forecast accuracy improvement?

Reducing working capital and increasing customer service levels are two important motivations for improving forecast accuracy. However, what impact can we expect from a 5% forecast accuracy improvement? And for which items can we expect the largest benefits, and should hence get priority? EyeOn created a model to explore the impact of forecast accuracy on stock value and service levels, for products having a variety of characteristics (e.g. high vs. low demand/service targets/lot size, etc.).

In this webinar, we show the results of our research and its application in two customer cases from the process and consumer products industry. Interested to know more? Sign up for our webinar or feel free to reach out to us!
