The project & results
In the project targeted at supply chain optimization, Mediq requested support with the optimization of the product flows between the European warehouses and worldwide suppliers. By creating a simulation tool, EyeOn was able to accurately reproduce the supply chain behavior of Mediq. This simulation tool allowed testing a wide variety of scenarios, e.g. direct or indirect shipments from suppliers to warehouses, adding an extra HUB location. It helped Mediq to set the correct safety stock levels per scenario at all locations, taking into account the overall performance of their supply chain network.
