J&J Innovative Medicine is a leading global pharmaceutical company, part of the Johnson and Johnson group. The J&J IM global planning and customer management organization controls an end-to-end (E2E) global network of manufacturing sites, distribution locations, and affiliates.
The challenge
After a global process concept design and organizational planning re-design the organization was ready for the next mile in their global planning transformation program: implementation of an advanced planning system (APS). The key focus of the APS implementation in terms of business objectives was to increase planning visibility and E2E connectivity, enable planning efficiencies, and optimize inventory.
The project
EyeOn has been a long-standing expert partner for Johnson and Johnson to install, refine and continuously improve its end-to-end planning capabilities using the S&OP layer planning functionalities of OMP Unison Planning™.
It started with the design, implementation and operationalization of OMP through several global deployments. The planning processes in scope ranged from Tactical brand configuration and plan guidance, NPI planning, Allocation management and S&OP to Scenario planning. EyeOn was a key business partner throughout the multi-year program supporting detailed process design, user requirements definition, master data design, agile testing, training, go-live support, and handover to the business.
Beyond the initial deployments EyeOn continued to play a role as OMP and process expert in driving continuous functional platform improvements, coaching, training and upskill of the growing user community.
