For a €0,5 bln naval shipbuilder, building marine and combat vessels globally, their planning & control was not fully supporting the needs of projects and stakeholders. Specifically, they were in need for an integral planning that provides transparency in potential bottlenecks and critical paths.
In joined effort the shipbuilder and EyeOn developed, implemented and embedded an integrated planning methodology including the use of software tools and reporting to control and support projects globally.
The integrated planning methodology was documented in detail and 100+ employees of the company were trained to ensure embedding. As a result, the shipbuilder now has integrated planning methodology for the whole organization (including subcontractors), enabling them to plan and control their projects more effective and more efficient.
