Specialized traineeships
EyeOn offers two different traineeship tracks. Both tracks share the same fundamental knowledge building and personal skill development. However, the professional skills you will develop and the work experience you will get, differ per track.
Two track options
Track 1: Forecasting & planning solutions
Focuses on planning solutions and business consultancy. In this traineeship you will learn how forecasting and planning processes run in daily business practice, and how to improve them with concrete initiatives. You will learn how to capture relevant business user requirements and develop your practical skills to turn these requirements into fit-for-purpose planning tools for forecasting and demand management, supply planning, or inventory management.
After completing this traineeship, you can reflect on planning challenges from business as well as IT perspective: a pivotal capability to grow your role and responsibilities in (large scale) planning solution implementation initiatives.
Track 2: Forecasting & planning analytics
Focuses on data science and business consultancy. In this traineeship you will learn how insights and analytics support forecasting and planning processes in daily business practice, and how they drive focus and priorities in continuous improvement. You will develop practical skills to design, build, and implement actionable dashboards. And you will get hands-on experience how analytical tools support performance improvement in forecasting and demand management, supply planning, or inventory management.
After completing this traineeship, you are a true bridge builder between hard data science and concrete business improvements.
Work, learn, and develop yourself
Both our traineeships follow a 2-year program, balancing assignment work with structured on-the-job coaching, personal development and training.
Impactful assignments
After the initial onboarding, you will work on three different customer assignments, rotating between our industry teams and product teams (planning solutions or data science). Your working location will be at our customers’ sites, from one of our offices or from home. Therefore international travelling is occasionally required. Temporary relocation might be an option, if that suits your interest. All traineeships are concluded with a tangible proof point in which you can apply the expertise and skills you developed.
