Last week Wednesday, the day before the European Planning Inspiration Day 2019, the EyeOn life science team hosted an interactive knowledge sharing and networking deep dive session for companies from the life science industry.
The day kicked off with a presentation from Freek Aertsen, who shared the latest insights and research findings on how organizations will take shape in times of digital transformation and what impact that will have on the role of planning and the profiles of planners in “no-touch” organizations.
In the second session Maarten van Liempd presented a holistic inventory management approach where he focused on the key building blocks and implementation best practices for companies to work with as they are improving their inventory health.
In the last session Bart Paridaen focused on the key elements and approach for integrating new product introductions and regulatory constrains in planning. Key elements to consider are master data strategy, planning signal / planning propagation, planning behavior and how to address them in an integrated way from both an organization as well as systems perspective.
