Making high impact improvements is not just our professional goal. We like helping others and contributing to a better future. For the EyeOn sport challenge our employees climbed the Vaalserberg in five hours as many times as possible by walking, running, cycling or MTB to raise money for Qhubeka.
Qhubeka Charity is a South African non-profit organization that donates bicycles to children, who often have to walk long distances to get to school. These bicycles enable them to get to and from school in a third of the time, thereby improving their attendance and performance.
We raised the total of 10 bikes for the bicycle program of Qhubeka – 10 lives changed!
We had a lot of fun together. But also everyone was quite ambitious as well. I think this combination of wanting to achieve something while having a lot of fun together really summarizes the culture at EyeOn. – Rijk van der Meulen, data scientist at EyeOn
This challenge was organized by Eelco Franckaert, senior consultant supply chain planning. For more details please feel free to reach out to Eelco!
